As usual， Anna Hackett kept up happily engrossed to the end of the Eon Warriors Series with Book 9， King Of Eon。 I am sad to report that my kindle has misbehaved and eaten my whole， wonderful review of this book-as well as the ARC book itself。 But nothing can keep me from singing praises for this Eon finale。 If you've been following the storyline- （condensed summary: evil Kantos species out to annihilate and conquer everybody， Earth in terminal danger， Eon Warriors allying with Earth and it's Sp As usual， Anna Hackett kept up happily engrossed to the end of the Eon Warriors Series with Book 9， King Of Eon。 I am sad to report that my kindle has misbehaved and eaten my whole， wonderful review of this book-as well as the ARC book itself。 But nothing can keep me from singing praises for this Eon finale。 If you've been following the storyline- （condensed summary: evil Kantos species out to annihilate and conquer everybody， Earth in terminal danger， Eon Warriors allying with Earth and it's Space Corp。 to fight Kantos）- then you have been waiting eagerly to see if the Kantos will be victorious in their attempts at domination。 Glimpses of King Gayel-leader of all the Eon Warriors- have also made teasing appearances throughout the books。 This final story is his。 Determined to cement the Earth/Eon alliance， King Gayel decides to marry an Earth woman。 As usual， things do not go as smoothly as anticipated。 His perfect mate turns out to be none other than the Space Corp officer （ Alea） assigned to guard his pool of potential wives。 What- did you expect easy？？？ This book contains resistance to a budding romance， evil attacking Kantos， a "final" epic nail biting battle， and an unexpected finale twist。 I also have to say that our author， Anna Hackett， has cleverly and teasingly left open several opportunities for future stories。 A satisfying conclusion （but hopefully not the end） of the Eon series！ I received an ARC to review this book。 。。。more

Captivating！The final book in the Eon Warriors does the series proud！ With action， hot romance， action， danger， action， wonderful characters and exotic locations， and some more action， the story builds and turns quickly and grows into a tale I personally did not want to end。 This one gets aaallllll the stars！

4。5 StarsSadly， this is the end of the Eon books， but it is possible this author has something else up her sleeve！ These books are fun， quick reads that transport readers to a world far， far away。 In this book， the Eon King， Gayel， is finally getting his turn to find a bride。 He would prefer to find his true mate， but he realizes that the chances are slim for that to happen。 To cement the relationship between Earth and Eon， Gayel has decided to look for a bride among the women of Earth。 So a spa 4。5 StarsSadly， this is the end of the Eon books， but it is possible this author has something else up her sleeve！ These books are fun， quick reads that transport readers to a world far， far away。 In this book， the Eon King， Gayel， is finally getting his turn to find a bride。 He would prefer to find his true mate， but he realizes that the chances are slim for that to happen。 To cement the relationship between Earth and Eon， Gayel has decided to look for a bride among the women of Earth。 So a spaceship with ten of Earth’s best， brightest， and most beautiful women is headed for Eon and King Gayel。 The spaceship is commanded by Captain Alea Rodriguez， and her second-in-command， Lieutenant Benjamin Knox。 Alea is the daughter of murdered drug dealers， and was raised by an unfeeling aunt， so she feels unworthy of any notice， and seems to be married to her job as both a warrior and a Captain。 Gayel takes one look at her and is interested， but he has his work cut out to convince her that she is worthy。 The Kantos are still present in this book as well。 For those unfamiliar， they are an alien race of insect-like creatures with green blood that is often toxic。 They are trying to take over both Earth and Eon so that they can devour all of their resources， and that fight comes to a head in this book。 There are some pretty intense fight scenes， but those allow readers to see how well Gayel and Alea work together。 It’s hard to imagine the models， lawyers， and beauty queens fighting alongside Gayel， so Alea really is the perfect partner for this king。 There are cameo appearances by many of the protagonists from prior books in this series， which is a fun little plus to this story！ Sassy （the computer） even returns for this one， and she has given herself a hot body！ Ms。 Hackett ties the series up nicely with this book， and leaves a crack in the door for another series to spring forth from this one。 There are some nice surprises in this book， and readers should enjoy this conclusion。 。。。more
